Wind in the Willows Jigsaw Puzzle - 500-Piece. Based on the Kenneth Grahame novel of the same name this puzzle depicts the River-Bankers, Mole, Rat, Badger, and Toad deep in discussion. The classic story was published in 1908 and was originally written in letter form to Grahame's young son Alistair. Rodney Matthews, the world famous fantasy artist, brings us a scene with great depth and detail. Matthews has worked as a freelance illustrator of fantasy and science since 1970. In the '70's he painted record album covers for rock groups as well as many book covers. More than eighty of his illustrations have been published for posters and calendars. More recently, Matthews has been in demand by computer game developers and children's television shows. The puzzle is packed in a box that looks like a book and its 500 pieces create a circular image 20" in diameter.
