Ariel's gown emulates that signature mermaid dress design with a flamboynt 3 layered tail. The top layer is a 2 tone organza with an iridescent over locked stitch. A 2nd layer of sparkle sheer is accented by the bottom layer of light pink shimmery sheer fabric. The bodice, with horizontal pleating, has a top and center panel with a light pink shimmery sheer layer framed with iridescent sequins. Her sleeves and peplum are a 2 tone organza with a silk flower detail at the waist. The skirt is satin with an iridescent foil print and a hem trimmed in iridescent sequins.
Ariels hand sculpted face has a matte porcelain finish and her eyes are of the highest grade of glass Macor eyes. Her hair is made of the finest hand rooted hair imported from Japan called Kanekalon. A signature tiara with a high gloss metallic finish is accented with rhinestones. Ariel has pearl like earrings and satin shoes that can be removed. Six points of articulation make for a greater range of poseablity.
The official trust mark of the Disney Princess and Me line can be located on each doll's foot; the trust mark can also be found in all the garments, like a garment label insuring authenticity.
